Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using AFK Assistant, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Your account

To use certain features, you may need to provide an email address and create a subscription. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials and activation details secure, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at support@afk-assistant.com if you suspect unauthorized use. Each subscription is licensed for your personal or internal business use and may not be resold or shared.

3. Subscriptions and billing

AFK Assistant is offered on a monthly subscription basis across our Basic, Pro, and Ultimate plans. The following terms apply:

• Free trial: new subscriptions begin with a 7-day free trial. No charge is made until the trial ends.
• Recurring billing: after the trial, your chosen plan renews automatically each month until you cancel. You authorize us and our payment processor to charge your payment method on each renewal date.
• Payment processing: payments are handled securely by Stripe. You agree to provide accurate billing information and to keep it up to date.
• Price changes: we may change subscription prices, and we will give you advance notice. Continued use after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.
• Taxes: prices may not include applicable taxes, which will be added where required.

4. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time. When you cancel, you will retain access to your plan through the end of the current billing period, and you will not be charged again.

Because every plan includes a 7-day free trial that lets you evaluate the Service at no cost, we generally do not provide refunds for amounts already charged. If you believe you were billed in error or experienced a genuine problem with the Service, contact us and we will review your situation in good faith.

5. Acceptable use

You agree to use AFK Assistant lawfully and responsibly. You must comply with any policies, agreements, or laws that apply to you, including your employer's policies where relevant. You must not:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive purpose.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the software, except as permitted by law.
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without our written permission.
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security or licensing features.
• Use the Service to infringe the rights of others or to cause harm.

You are solely responsible for how you use the Service and for ensuring that your use complies with any obligations you have to third parties.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including all software, content, branding, and design, is owned by AFK Assistant and protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for its intended purpose during your subscription. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. The AFK Assistant name and logo may not be used without our prior written consent.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device, configuration, or third-party application. You use the Service at your own discretion and risk.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AFK Assistant and its owners, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, misuse the Service, or fail to pay applicable fees. Upon termination, your license to use the Service ends. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability, will continue to apply.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction where AFK Assistant operates, unless otherwise required by mandatory local law.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
